SEDP- Simbag sa Pag-asenso, Inc., (A Microfinance NGO) pilots “Balay Asenso”- a new housing loan product for members of Albay District, Polangui, Bacacay one and two branches last April 2019.

Isidro Banzuela, Fe Gepila, and Shella Cabria, who attended the training in “Habitat for Humanity” facilitated an orientation for the said branches last March 2019 as first step in launching said new loan product.

Different from the existing Multipurpose Loan or MPL, “Balay Asenso” is only intended for land acquisition, house repair, and improvements.

Shown from research, members residing in Manito, Cagraray, and Polangui are most in need of such product, giving SEDP the plan to offer it in said places.

Eighteen to sixty years old with at least three years of membership, are some of the requirements and qualifications to avail the Balay Asenso.

While opened to members, “Balay Asenso” may also be offered to staff in the coming months since the product gains a high demand since announced.
