The arrival of gilts completes the Babuyang Walang Amoy or BWA Project last January 24, 2019, Thursday.

20 gilts from International Farms Corporation or INFARMCO arrived for Victor Emmanuel Solomon or Tatay Vie’s farm in Del Rosario, Pillar Sorsogon.

Inaugurated last December 2018, the breeding farm aimed to install one supplier for the cooperators of the BWA project also maintaining the quality of its meat products.

Supported by SEDP Simbag sa Pag-asenso, Inc., the project is a value chain development that supports and help local livestock growers in all aspects of enterprise development: input sourcing, technical assistance, training, financing, consolidation, and marketing.

Started with fourteen (14) cooperators in Castilla, Sorsogon last year 2017, the BWA now has expanded to thirty-five (35) spreading to Daraga, Albay with hope to double up before 2019 ends.
