Members of SEDP-Simbag sa Pag-asenso, Inc., (A Microfinance NGO) Masbate branch participated in the Tree Planting Activity held in Tabuc Masbate City with the staff of Department of Environment and Natural Resources last October 20, 2019, Sunday.

Thirty (30) people, including SEDP Members, who are residents of barangay Tabuc participated in the said activity together with SEDP staff, barangay officials, and the staff of DENR-Mobo Masbate, Bakawan (mangrove) Seedlings were planted at the swamp area of the barangay hoping to increase its number since there are just a few trees are growing in the area.

Engaging in this kind of activity reflects members’ social-responsibility and response to Pope Francis’ (Laudato si’) call to care for our common home.
