2018 marks up the implementation of the new service program of SEDP Simbag sa Pag-asenso Incorporated, this is the “SEDP CARE.”
SEDP CARE, a program that is meant to provide “funeral service package” to the deceased members is being implemented firstly in Albay Operations Group.
The said program’s objective is to give assistance to the member’s bereaved family wherein, from a onetime annual payment of 20 pesos, a member will receive a funeral service amounting to 10,000 pesos, with Flat coffin, basic embalming and other inclusions. These will be delivered by the three “partner funeral service providers” of SEDP, each is also designated in the three areas of Albay.
This year, in its first ever implementation, the onetime payment of 20 pesos will be shouldered by the SEDP Mutual Benefit Association. The processing is being handled by the SEDP Multipurpose Cooperative.
SEDP Care is an additional to the list of benefits that is being given to the members, a proof that SEDP continues to search for ways to help and provide what its members really need.
