Unilever Philippines Inc.,(ULP) and SEDP Simbag sa Pag-Asenso Inc., signed the MOA to collaborate on Pureit Safe Drinking Water Program.

The Pureit Safe Drinking Water Program is a collaboration between ULP and Microfinance Institutions (MFIs). Starting with this program and partnership, ULP and SEDP will work together in promoting common advocacies under the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan (USLP).

To provide low-income households with access to safe drinking water; to educate members of MFIs on safe drinking water and advantages of in-home water purification using Pureit Water Purifier (“Pureit”); and to enable MFI’s members to avail of a loan for the purchase of Pureit are the goals of the program.

Present during the MOA signing are Rev. Fr. Jose Victor Lobrigo, President and CEO, and Remegia Balucio, Director for Operations from SEDP; Brian Duruin, Puriet National Business Manager, Gina Pancho, Collins Puriet National Sales Manager (Distributor), Melissa Doctor, Channel Development Officer, and Siddharth Agrawal, Puriet Global Brand Director from ULP.
